Help me with my Canadian dream

Hi all!

I will start by saying I have dreamed of moving to Canada for several years now and believe I am finally ready to dedicate my time in fulfilling this dream!

I am a 22 year old male from London, UK. I have previous experience In childcare (2-3 years as a Playworker) Debt Collection (2 years continuous experience) and a hotel Night Manager (currently). The initial thought was to get a 1 Years workers Visa but am aware that I will have to now wait to apply for 2015. I was hoping to get help btaining the Visa via signing upto Bunac (I believe its SWAP in Canada) on either a self placement or full placement scheme but have looked a little into both.

I was also looking to take a weeks vacation to Canada around The end of May to sightsee and experience what it's like. Could this time be used to anyway help with working over there I.E. should I spend time talking to possible employers regarding getting a job if I was to get my working visa accepted? Is there anyway to get another type of visa that would allow me to move over sooner then 2015?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you for reading this, I hope I didn't drag on for too long!

If you want to move sooner than 2015, then you will need to obtain a closed work permit. To do this you will first have to find an employer who is willing to offer you a full time job. That employer will then need to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion and as part of this process demonstrate that the job was advertised and no qualified Canadian could be found for the role.
