Hi, My Name is Salman and on 15th Of April I've Got my Refusal Letter, Can Anyone Please help me if I Can Reapply Again Or not, it is Under the Section of A11(1), Please help me and Please give me Song Good Suggestions

This refers to your application for a student permit to Canada. I have completed my assessment of your application and I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for a student permit; therefore, your application is refused.

In accordance with Section A11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), any person wishing to become a temporary resident of Canada must satisfy an officer that he or she is not inadmissible to Canada and meets the requirements of the Act. This includes the requirement to establish to the satisfaction of the officer that the applicant will respect their conditions of admission and will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for his or her stay.

In reaching a decision, an officer considers several factors; these may include the applicant’s travel and identity documents, reason for travel to Canada, contacts in Canada, financial means for the trip; ties to country of residence (including immigration status, employment and family ties) and whether the applicant would be likely to leave Canada at the end of his/her authorized stay.

Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulations for the reasons explained below. I am therefore refusing your application.

Grounds for refusal:

· Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans.

This application is closed. Please note that any new information you wish to provide must be submitted with a new application and processing fee. Should you wish to reapply, I would suggest that you do so only if your situation has changed substantively or you have significant new information to submit.

A refusal letter doesn't tell us anything unless you tell us about yourself, what you applied for, your background, and the documents you submitted.

"Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans." You have a Bachelor degree, and a Diploma, and you are a senior exec. What were your reasons for applying to another diploma course? Why not a masters degree or a post graduate diploma?

You are already a senior marketing exec. A college course will not add skills or lead to career advancement. You aren’t a genuine student so that is why you were refused.

Sorry to hijack OP's thread - but do you think I would run into a similar issue; I am completing a 2 year diploma in web development, I also work as a part-time freelance software developer (junior, self-taught), and I am going for a 2 year diploma in Computer Information Technology in Alberta for September intake.

I don't have a bachelor degree, the highest post secondary credential I would have this summer is a 2 year diploma. Thank you!

Not sure. You have a much better chance without any post secondary education but many IT people are self-taught. Would stress the additional skills that you will acquire.

Thank you, I thought otherwise. I will mention some interesting courses that I look forward to study, in the SOP.
What you should do is reinforce your self-taught nature and the need for additional instructions on other programs or more advanced skills that you can not teach yourself even if technically you can.
