dear experts, I got refusal for study permit, reason was no family ties, insufficient bank statement (which was of 65 lacs) & no assets in pakistan.
my brief profile is am single mother of two kids and I've to take them with me as there is no other option.
I have already done masters in English Literature and have job experience of 8 years in education field.
I took admission is diploma program of two years at seneca college.
got admission offer from them but visa got refused.
I need to be foreign qualified to strengthen my professional profile so that I can upbring my children in best way I can.
so, please help me to resolve this.

apply to a university .They are not entertaining colleges applicants well these days. i got refusal today as well. you applied on 29th may and me applied on 30th may.

u can show ties to Pakistan by showing letter from ur employer that u can join after completing ur studies in canada. also other thing that can add home tie is the letter from school of ur kids that they can also join after coming back from canada.

other things that can show home ties r some property, personal business, other family members except ur kids who will accompany u in canada.

first of all, not sure why you choose a diploma course after masters in English Literature ?
You should go for at least MPhil or at least some higher degree not diploma.

Then yes show your home ties as
1) Job
2) School of kids (though its not a tie to your country specially when you are going away for 2 years or so)
3) other relatives, grand parents of children
4) and some fixed assets like rental property if any

and there is another suggestion for future perspective. Go for Australian Immigration, its easy and fast and looks like you are pretty much eligible for it.

Sorry to know about ur refusal , I think u should apply without children , ur children will be ur tie to home country ,

but I can't leave my children in Pakistan. that's the biggest thing.

It doesn't make sense why you would take a diploma after a masters. This makes it seem like you are using the study permit as a way of getting your family to Canada for a long term stay. You should be applying for either another masters or a PhD.

Your consultant gave you very bad advice. I wouldn't use this consultant again.

I'm being suggested that I should apply at university of Regina, the one in Saskatchewan .for masters program, as they are inviting and has relaxed policies so I may go there with kids for higher program... can anyone telll me is it right?? should I follow it??

yeah that sounds good and make at least much better sense than going for diploma in some college
