Hello Group,
I'm planning to apply for Canadian PR, however there is a small confusion in choosing who should be the primary applicant me or my wife.
Here are the facts
1) My wife is 30yrs Old and I'm 34yrs Old.
2) My wife's education WES(B.Sc +M.C.A) is recognized as Grad + Masters while mine WES(B.Sc + M.Sc) is recognized as Bachelors +1 year of graduate study.
3) She has 3yrs of work experience while I have 11yrs of work experience in Software Engineering.
The only catch is she quit her job and is a stay at home mom since 2014 and she won't be able to work immediately for another two or more years even after relocating.
What will be the best way to go ahead? Is it mandatory that the primary applicant should work immediately after moving to CA? Can a dependent applicant apply and work instead?
Could we both apply for PR and mark each other as dependents?
Any suggestions would be great,
Thanks in Advance,
Dhilip
