Help-lost maintained status?

Hello and thank you in advance for reading: here are my questions since I can’t properly find the answer.

I am a green card holder and I extended my visitor visa in order to do my pr with my common law.

10 nov : visitor visa expired
8 nov : applied for extension of visa visitor
10 dec: had to go back to USA in emergency to visit my mother who was very sick
3 Jan : came back to Canada

my questions are :
- while doing the extension I was on maintained status.
- I guess I lost it because I left the country (though my application is still pending)
- for the pr, they ask for a valid status in canada (document)
- what is my valid status since they let me come back on jan, does that mean i can stay up to 6 month again?
- how do i get a visitor record that proves my current status?
- do i need to restore my visitor status that expired last nov ?

I am not sure if I should just restore my visitor status that expired or am I now still able to stay up to 6 months again and how do I prove my current status.
Thank you in advance for your help, I read different cases here but of course each case is specific and I can’t seem to find the right solution to my situation.

Once you leave Canada, your visitor record was no longer valid even if approved later. If you re-entered then, your 6 months starts again so no need to restore status. Assume your common law time starts again because you must live together continuously for 12 months.

Thank you so much!! We be been living together since mid 2023 and already got common law , only left country for 15 days barely. Now we started R but they ask for valid status document. How can we ask for a visitor record document for Pr application?

What do you mean when you say "in order to do my pr with my common law"? You stated that you reached the required one year of cohabiting sometime in mid 2024 to be deemed Common-Law, correct?

Have you already applied for Spousal Sponsorship? If so, did you submit an Inland [SCPLC] application?

Perhaps you could call CBSA and ask if they can help you.

You are correct that since you were admitted without a stamp in your passport with a `must leave by' date, you have legal visitor status until ~ July 3rd.
