HELP! LMO wage & hour?

Hello everyone

Here's an issue with FLMO wage & hour in Quebec.
(Basically, it's LMO without advertisement)

I'm working in Quebec as a graphic designer in a condition of $16 per hour, 37.5 hours a week.
But I found my wage is lower than the everage(median wage, which is $20/h).
I heard LMO might be rejected if my wage doesn't reach the median wage.
So I'm thinking of lower my working hour but raise the wage.

So my question is,
1. Having slightly lower wage than the median wage about -$1~2. Would it be okay?
2. Work 32.5 hours a week. Would it be less risky?
3. For an unqualified application, do they request additional documents before they reject?

First of all let me tell you that the wages that service
Canada put in the LMO is the minimum wages
So I don't think they can put less wages than that

The number of wage Canada put online was 'median wage'. Not 'minimum wage'.
But still you think median wage is minimum wage?

hi,

i am also in the same stage .When I talked to consultants they are saying median wage is needed not low wage.
.But I dont think even the canadians are getting median wage for specified positions,Then how can foreign workers show median wages and its always above 20$ for high skilled job.

Hi Friends,
my case was some what similar to yours. After the mine medicals reached ottawa.
I got a call from my VO which was são Paulo Brasil.regarding my LMO is expired & need a new one with a new job offer letter.
at the end i did not have to submit a new LMO but only the job offer when my employer send it to me i noticed difference of 2$ in my salary. then i was as asked to submit my passport to the vo.
So my conclusion is same as my friend. questioning in the tread.
