Well, I talked to a lawyer who suggested me send information through webform to IRCC. Two weeks later, the eligibility has been reinstated.
I am in the same boat. Could you please tell me what did you exactly send?

I do not think that the poster is still active. But you saw that on GSMS notes then rest assured, I was just the same but then Final decision came after a few months. I believe it is just a process when doing background check. I hope this helps.

Thank you for taking time in answering. My background was in progress. And now it says they will send a mesage when they start my background check. It seems like I have gone one step back. I am not sure if i should talk to a lawyer or wait until IRCC reaches out.

I completely feel you and know that its stressful but rest assured that this is the process. Even my BG went from in progress to we will send you a message when we start your BG check. Remained like that for 4 months and then got final decision. I am waiting for my PR card.

Hey, did you receive a new AIP letter once your eligibility completed again after reassessment? Thank you and I appreciate your reply.

Hi Guys, I need some insights about inland application, as I cannot find similar cases on google.

I applied inland in August 2023, and everything seemed going in the normal procedure: received AOR in September, AIP and SA in October, criminality also passed. Only thing left had been security and info sharing.
Then in January things started to go weird. First my BCG was updated to in progress on the tracker, but it had been shown in progress for months. Then, a week later in February, my eligibility was flicked from completed to in progress. Finally, in March I received an information letter from IRCC, saying that they are reassessing my eligibility requirements and I should disregard my AIP, but I don't need to do anything yet. Then, I contacted my MP, who told me my eligibility is in progress, criminality not started, securing in progress; other things have completed.

Upon receiving "ghost" updates of BCG in January, I ordered the GCMS notes, part which gets my attention:
1. My info sharing was completed on the same day when my BCG had the "ghost" update.
2. On the same day, there started a second entry to my criminality, which is not started. The first entry to my criminality was completed upon me giving my bio in October.
3. Again, on the same day, an officer left a note saying "file referred to Stage one review"

I called IRCC yesterday for updates, but nothing has changed: eligibility in progress, security in progress and criminality not started.

Guys, please offer insights here. I am just extremely confused with this situation here.
im also receiving this email Jan 20/2025 and I’m receiving second email my file transfer Etobicoke office I don’t why plz help my so worried about this

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
What is pfl
IRCC sends a Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) to enable an applicant to respond before refusing an application. Receipt of a Procedural Fairness Letter indicates that the immigration authorities wish to offer the individual applicant an opportunity to submit a detailed response to avoid impending refusal.
