[HELP] Information about a temporary visa process from Pakistan

Hello everyone,

My uncle lives in Canada and he sent a invitation letter to his mother (My Grandmother) back in May. She applied for visit visa with all the necessary documents on 6th of May, 2019. till now we havn't received a reply from embassy except a email with the subject of "validity of your biometric information".

I tried tracking the application from (https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/pakistan/track-your-application.html) and on July 31st Visa application, tracking ID No.201xxxxxxxxxxx has been received and is under process at the IRCC office on 2019/05/09

and today on 5th of Aug.I have received this output by tracking the application

Visa application, tracking ID No.201xxxxxxxxx processed at the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

Now, I dont know what to do as its been 3 months and she havn't received any reply from embassy.

Guide me further, Should I email embassy? is that appropriate?

Yes, I know but why is it taking so much time? its been 3 month. we have been told that we should have the reply by 45 days.

for some reason may applications have taken time I noticed some other people in forum too but you should be getting a positive reply soon inshAllah just think good Allah will do it for all of us

Processing time is generic info and no one can guarantee for time , all depend on load but in the end you will get reply.
