Im planning to get married in a few months from now so I'm stressing out what I need to do. what do i need to bring with me to get married and do i have to get married in a certain part of japan or can i get married in her hometown which is kochi, Japan. I've read I have to bring some documents with me but if someone can lead me in the right direction and tell me exactly what i need that would be very helpful I want to make sure i have all the proper documents when i go there. thanks....

I think you might be in the wrong forum, as it's for people who are sponsoring their families from abroad to come to Canada ;D

Well take a look:

Good luck!

you can get married, means submit the paper, wherever you want, her hometown, where she lives now, where you like to visit, anywhere, as long as you two have all necessary papers.

check with the office you want to submit the paper what documents are needed and how to fill out the paper. they recommended to bring everything for review, which we did, and they told us to bring additional documents on the day and revised some on the marriage paper.

i think you will prepare your side's documents while in canada. in japan, official documents are valid only for 3 months from their issuance date.
