Guys I am wondering if you can help me in figuring out NOC for this job. My friend is planning to apply with these job duties but not sure about his NOC...he is a geoscientist though..but he don't deal with exploration and analysis of seismic. Sorry ipad autocorrected me in to I'M
Logs 100% of Data Management and System Administration calls into Right Now using SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
Majority of support incidents sampled pass review for incident quality. Problem description is generally easy to understand.
Majority of support calls are escalated to R&D using SOP and have an associated bug report.
Handles internal and local customer software installs and training room installs/reinstall when required.
Delivers customer training (Data Management and Sys. Admin. Course) on occasion.
Ability to load geoscience data (wells, seismic, interpretation, etc.)
Independently provides Tier 1 data management and sys. admin. remote and onsite user support; answers basic questions and solves straightforward usage issues.
Develops strong personal relationships with users in multiple communities. Gains understanding of influence users.
Collects metrics for management.
Enters and submits time weekly.
Participates and contributes content to knowledge development program.
Contributes to Technology Fit program and may deliver one program per month.
Complies with all applicable HSE requirements. Technical Certification Level II – III.
Good understanding of important science behind the software concepts.
About you:
Requires BS in Computer Science, Geology, Geophysics, and 2 - 5 years minimum experience or Master's degree in lieu of experience.
Windows and Linux installation experience desired.
Geoscience data loading experience desired.
