[Help] - I was refused after AIP in September. 50+ days have passed and IRCC hasn't given me GCMS Notes yet either.

Hi everyone.

If you don't know, I was
refused two weeks after receiving AIP, on September 03, 2020. For those wondering, the AIP was legit, it's still there in my GCKey account. I'm a Pakistani applicant, going for Bachelor's. I was refused for eligibility reasons, after AIP.

Immediately after the refusal, I ordered my GCMS notes through getgcms on Sept. 04, as I cannot understand the actual reason why my application was refused, especially AFTER AIP. It's been 49 calendar days, and I haven't received my notes. They're supposed to take max 30-35 days.

I emailed getgcms support, asking about the delay. They complained about this delay to the Office of Information Commissioner and filed a status request with IRCC. This was a week ago. I still haven't heard anything. Almost everybody who applied for their notes around the same time has received them by now.

Anyways, as I still have my admission valid, I am planning to reapply. However, not knowing the detailed reasons for refusal, I can't do that either.

So, is there anything I can do about this? Does anyone have any idea why my notes aren't coming through?

Help is appreciated.

Thank you.

What reason was stated on the refusal letter? Not satisfied that you will leave Canada after your studies?

Yes. Not satisfied that I'll leave based on: Purpose of visit (Bachelors in CompSci from uWindsor), Family ties in Canada (I have no family there, addressed this in SoP as well), and Travel History (I'm 18 years old with no travel history). This came in two weeks after AIP. Refused by Abu Dhabi embassy.

High School with Computer Science. +2 with Mathematics. Demonstrated why I'm going for CompSci in the SOP. Mentioned my publications, background in Computer Science, competitions, and prizes.

If you know someone in Canada, ask him to approach the local MP and seek an MP enquiry. Search on the internet for more info about it, usually, it takes 2 working days.

This is not entirely correct. We haven't seen (in this Forum) many refusals from Abu Dhabi after an AIP was sent. @Afrokk is actually the only one, there may 1 more but it is not confirmed what happened with their application. This case here seems to be one of the very few.
