Did they request for the original? They usually only expect copies (certified copies maybe).
They do not usually send anything back. Is your application completed. Did you request to get the material you sent to be returned?
You should contact IRCC. Try calling them.
They usually do not return any of the materials. Which is mainly why they do not ask for originals - the exceptions being (as far as I'm aware) things for which 'extracts' (duplicates really) are considered originals.
I did not no you had to I have sponsored someone befor in my past and I never requested it they just return it with the passport so I never new u had t ask and they did ask for original so that's why I sent it

As a side note, people should try googling. This is at least the third question this week that I've googled and found an official link that explicitly answers the question in about 3 seconds (haven't posted the answer each time but I have googled).
