Hello I am New here, I am in Canada as International student status in ( St Lawrence College)Ontario.
I receive two years extension.
I would like my wife and children come here but I don't know what visa apply for my children they are 4 including2Twins the ages of them are 6, 4, 1, 1.
1- I don't know what kind of TRV apply for, study permit or visitor?.

2- Another thing I filled up the questions on the system in name of my wife for a open work permit and visitor visa for my children and the check list says all I need to upload and I got surprised it doesn't say no financial proof to be shown.

I think a spousal work permit application is just alright and a visitors visa for your children since they are accompanying their mother. That is my best guess.

Lets see what others say.

Thanks so much, I just filled the questions on the CIC web page in order to request a open work permit for my wife and at the end the result was positive and it shows me the formilaries and the supporting documents and do not requested financial support, I spouk to a friend of mine who is now living in Montreal because his wife came first in order to study there, and a couples of months later he asked for his open work permit because he was still back home (Dominican Republic) and he told me the CIC system did not request financial suppotr neither .

So my friend I think that you answer is right.

A financial support proof is required when applying for a study permit along with accompanied family members ($10,000 for main applicant + $4000 for one member + $3000 for each additional member)
