Help I can’t get through the “Activities” page in the IRCC Porta

Hello guys, please help! I am stuck in my application, I have followed all the instructions about employment details and the gaps arrangement, but this is the message I keep receiving:
You must complete this entire section to be able to save your details
You can only save your information after you answer all the questions below and fill in each table. If you leave the application without providing all these details

• your information will not be saved
• you will have to input the information again when you return

i have entered all the required details and it went through when i completed application first time. but when after 2 days i logged in again to upload documents then i encountered this error.
i cant understand first time it went through and after completing whole application this error came and i am unable to solve this after hundreds of attempts.
can anybody help

I seriously need help!!

I have tried to go past the "education, work and other activities" page but to no avail. I listed my post-secondary education dates (i.e., 2010-08 to 2014-05; 2016-08 to 2018-04; 2018-09 to "ongoing"). I have done work during my post-secondary education but since the system does not allow for work history to overlap with education dates, I have ignored entering those works. However, between 2014-06 to 2016-07 when I wasn't in school, I was working, but when I entered this information, the system did not allow me to continue. I thought the error was from the gap in my transition from my MA to PhD program (i.e., 2018-05 to 2018-08), consequently, I have filled that as "unemployed" but I still can't go past this page.

I'd appreciate any help urgently.

I removed my Bachelor and master degrees and left only the doctorate degree (the last one) in the Education and then it worked.

Not sure if it can help with others, but it does unblock my case.
1) I remove all the education (college / un-degree / bachelor degree) except for the master one. I think probably anything under postgraduate might need to put as unemployed.
2) add those education (college / un-degree / bachelor degree) under the work experience as unemployed.
3) the master degree period should also include as the unemployed (I surprised but it did work)
4) It's ok to have on-going for the current job.

For example,
2014/6 - 2016/9 : bachelor
2016/10-2017/12: working
2018/1 - 2018/12: master
2019/1 - ongoing: working

So this case will input as:
-------------------------------
Education section:
- 2018/1 - 2018/12: master degree

Working
2013/1-2016/9: unemployed (covered for bachelor period)
2016/10-2017/12: working
2018/1-2018/12: unemployed (covered for master degree, I keep both and no complain)
2019/1-ongoing: working
-------------------------------

It's not the guidance, I just keep trying with different case from breakdown the big block (2013-2023) to different part and found out this input work. Hope it can hep with others, since I also have bad time on unblocking previously.

My issue is resolved. I basically removed my bachelor's degree which was from August 2010 to May 2014 from the education history and then put it under work experience as unemployed from January 2013 to May 2014. That allowed me to put 2014 June to 2016 July for additional work done while I wasn't in school, and then from 2016 August to "ongoing" as unemployed. It worked!!

Hi all,

I have faced the same issue and it is resolved now.

After making sure there are no gaps in the 10 year employement history and unchecking the ongoing Status and entering 2023 July (Current month) in the current employement field, it still shown the same error.

Then I have reentered the same details after not saving the data, then it worked.

Not sure how but it worked in my case.

Bachelors: SEP 2011 - AUG 2014
Masters: SEP 2015 - OCT 2016

Work:
Job 1: July 2023 - Ongoing
Job 2: Feb 2017 - July 2023

How do I fill this out; and what is the order to fill out; latest education and work history first or vice versa?
