Help I can’t get through the “Activities” page in the IRCC Porta

Hi there. I'm stuck on the activities page. I'm helping my dad apply to come and visit us in Canada. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong... My dad was in the military and has several degrees. It doesn't allow me to move past if I fill in anything at the military section or education. I tried not adding any education that overlaps with his work experience (even though it's a Masters and PHD) and his military service was +40 years ago.

you need to show something from feb 2019 to dec 2019. if in that month you studied or unemployed.

Hi all, I've finally figured it out. Make sure you'll include ALL work experience including what you're currently doing now (October), could be unemployed or doing other work things or still explored/ongoing. Then make sure there's no gap for the past 10yrs (2012), no need to include roles you've assumed starting in 2011.

can you help me in my case? As I am currently working and studying as a part time student. But if I enter both and mark ongoing it is not allowing me to go further. Error occurs same.

I just went thourgh thar error.

This is what I did:
You can not have post secundary education and work information on the same period of time

Left, on post secundary education, only the degrees that you studied before 10 year ago. Makes no sende cuz you actually study a master dregree and keep working. That was the only way I could move to the next page.

I was able to proceed with the application. Few points -

1. There is a separate section for Post-Secondary education, so do not include the post-secondary education dates in the "employment and activities for the past 10 years" section. For ex if post secondary education is from 2011 june - 2015 june, do not mention these dates in the 10 years activities section.
2. Don't mention as "unemployed" for post-secondary education dates in the employment section.
3. Unemployed should be mentioned only for "secondary education" or for period you were not working (apart from post-secondary education).
4. Also, the months should not overlap. For ex if job 1 finished in June 2021, next activity should start in July 2021.

Officer may send you ADR later on if they need more info to process application

I solved it this way. it may help you too.
I have been working since 2011 in one place. when I enter my work experience, an error occurs as I have completed my Master's degree recently (2018-2020). I mentioned my work experience in two separate parts from 2011 to 2018 and 2018 to now with the same work information and it worked.

Same problem here as well...I am emplyed with the same employer since Apr'2008...However, if I provide my employment information from Jul'2013 till Jul'2023, it's throwing an error....I have also tried giving the "ongoing" option as well...Nothing is working...Help please

In this section, no gaps are allowed in any of the sections, either in the post-secondary (I know it doesn't make any sense), or work/activities history.
