HELP!!! I already have a study visa but I am planning to take my 6 yr old boy

Hi Everyone! I already have my study visa and my husband got his open work visa too. I am planning to get my 6 yr old boy in our country after a year of staying here in Canada, of course, we need to make sure everything is okay before he's in Canada. Though, I am planning to get him after a year and I have no clue on how to? Do I write with the visa officer at the the embassy? Or do I enroll my kid in school right away? Anyone who have the same experience? My kid do not have a visa as of yet like my husband and I do. PLEASE I TERRIBLY NEED YOUR ADVICE.. thanks guys!

The child has to apply (you do the application) for a TRV/STudy permit at the office responsible for the country where he resides.
