Hello all!
I have to apply for the Canadian visa but still waiting for my CAQ (Québec acceptance certificate). Can I apply or wait? Because I have limited time.

Info regarding my case:
> Accepted at Concordia University (Master of Engineering-Electrical and Computer Engineering)
> 104 in Toefl, 1370 in GRE
> 2 Reseach papers and a research internship... I am trying to say that I have a very good academic background.

The problem is with my bank statement... its not of previous 4 months...its hardly 2 months old... but I have also shown property of vast agricultural land.

Can anyone plz answer my these 2 question?
> should i apply for visa parallel to the CAQ process?
> what are my chances to get visa?

I'll be grateful if someone can help me out here...

Bro, I know the wait is the most disgusting thing when your future is on the line but unfortunately your study permit application won't be processed without CAQ so no point in applying without it. Secondly, you need to submit evidence of your/your sponsor's LIQUID assests i.e cash and not frozen assets such as agricultural land, houses or any other kind of properties. Submitting evidence of possessing above things along with your bank statement does strenghthen your case providing that you're showing enough cash in your bank account to cover for your tuition fees, accomodation and other incidental costs in Canada.

I asked CHC Islamabad via email and they said Anyone can apply without CAQ to the study permit(visa) but they should show a proof that they have applied for CAQ at least.
