Interesting,did you guys applied through the same agent?.Maybe the issue last time was your SOP and you failed to demonstrate how purposed program would benefit you and why you will come back to india.
To be honest,I don't think you should reapply right now. you should do major changes in your profile like do some course related to the program you want to do in Canada and you should also appear for Ielts and try to score good bands.Next time also make a strong SOP,Good luck.If you don't want to wait look for another country.
