I have applied for my study visa on 6th July and i have received the ' Your Action is needed ' update on 20th of August. The Message basically states that i require some documents to be uploaded again. My question is after uploading the specific required documents how much time will it take for my visa to come through. My university is about to start and I dont have many days remaining. Can any one share their experience so that I know how much time it takes for final visa decision

No I am not, I dont have a visa to enter canada. I should be able to upload the documents today itself. Is it possible that I will get the approval within one buisness day?

Unfortunately within one bussiness day, its practical not possible. Normally after submitting new documents it takes about 5 days to update status in cic portal.
I applied on 3rd July and some more documents were sent via webform on 26th July and all status changed to "under review" and till date no update recieved so far and i dont know whats gona happen. Waiting n waiting
Normally need 1-2 weeks to get your final decision when you uploaded the additional documents.
I only got one notification ' application updated ' just before ' your action is required ' notification. No medical update as such, on my application ' no medical check required ' is showing up

Probably within this week.
Once the medical is passed, your visa will be approved within a week or 2 at max.
Which intake and which college/university?
I did my medicals before applying so I have already passed my medicals. The issue was with my educational documents which I have uploaded after the query

Medical was updated before uploading the additional documents?
Medical update should be "You have passed medicals."
