HELP!!! Got ITA but cannot proceed due to online services are down

I got ITA but now I am getting into trouble. I chose 'Continue application' and completed all the forms of the questionnaire, but when I clicked 'Continue' to submit the questionnaire, I got following error:

System-generated error code:null (2015-02-09 14:36:58)

This on-line service is currently not available.
Possible reasons::
We are currently updating this Web site.
We are experiencing technical difficulties.
Please try again later.

I have done some search on google and it looks like this issue ever happened to many people in the past and the only worked solution is to DELETE the application and start it over again. But I don't think it applies to my situation as applications in express entry need a draw first and I couldn't even find a way to delete my application. Of course I won't try to do that even if there is a button to delete the application.

I have reported the issue to CIC and got their confirmation that this is indeed a periodic issue and they are looking into it. However, the email seems to be a standard template and in fact no further actions they will take according to others who ever also encountered the same issue and got the same email reply.

Please HELP!!!! What should I do?

Hi Friend,

I too facing the same issue from this Monday 9th Feb 2015. I just spoke to call centre.. they asked to raise a request in dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca
I just raised.

Please let me know if you find any way to resolve the issue. or I can respond back if i get any response.

Sundays are usually when CIC is down. I believe that's because of the updation of the website.
Be patient and try again tomorrow. Don't panic, it's their usual thing.

Try clearing cookies of your browser or
Try a different browser or
Try a different computer.
One of the above should solve the problem.

I've done ALL your suggestions for the past week but no change and I need to see the personalized checklist to be sure I'm getting the right docs

Hi All,
Actually I was getting this same problem but actually CIC website was not down.
I wasted 10 days for this.

But then i came to know the solution.
Just go in your profile and for each section click Document completeness, its on the top of each section you filled in your profile. And then it will show you that you have not filled some areas. just do this and then you ll be able to submit your application suuccessfully.

Thanks!

I saw this suggestion on another post and tried today. Check for Completeness says okay for all my forms. Can't understand why I still can't continue
