My uncle is a businessman and runs a mobile connection franchise. He also has experience of mobile handling n troubleshooting. He is working in this field for 5yrs. Do u guys think he can qualify for self employed class? Which noc? He has 14yr education. Or do we apply
For investor class? Is it necessary to have 8lac $ in hand to apply?

1. It is unlikely that he would qualify for self-employed

Relevant experience is defined as:

* participation at a world-class level in cultural activities or athletics
* farm management experience or
* self-employment in cultural activities or athletics. Please consult the Related Links section at the bottom of this page for a list of activities that qualify. You will also find a link to definitions of terms that apply to self-employed persons.

2. For Investor he has to meet the following.

Investors

The Immigrant Investor Program seeks to attract experienced business people to invest C$400,000 into Canada’s economy. Investors must:

* show that they have business experience
* have a minimum net worth of C$800,000 that was obtained legally and
* make a C$400,000 investment.

education of child, and child milk money .....does we have to register all these benefits in quebec as we had applied for quebec,,,,,,we are very confuse because we heard quebec is quicker but there mostly french speaking people lives there

What I know
1) Faster or not will depend a)on the country where are you from, b)how accurate were prepared the documents.
2) Sometimes Canadian banks can help to speed it up. One of my friends got such help on Federal Investor program from a bank.

best875: Look carefully at the requirements for each program you intend to apply for. Sometimes investor programs require you to invest in a business in that province and run this business for a certain amount of time.

If there is no such requirement, it would still be advisable to land in the province that nominated you but after that, you can move.

You can see processing times here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/menu-perm.asp but keep in mind that this is after you have been approved by the province and have applied for your PR. To find out how long it takes to be processed by the province, you would have to contact their PNP's directly.

Once you have landed, you have to register for a Social insurance number at Service Canada and you have to register for health care. In some provinces you have a 3 month waiting time before you get health care. To register your children for school, you should first talk to the school you want them to go to. I do not know of a program for child milk money.

If you land in Quebec and move to Ontario within 3 months, you still would not have health care in Quebec at the time you move so there is nothing to transfer. If this was the case, it would be better to move to Ontario as soon as possible so you wait your 3 months for health care there or stay in Quebec long enough to get health care there before you move because then Quebec would cover you for the 3 months you are waiting in Ontario. A Social insurance number is valid in every province so it does not matter where you get it.
