Help for getting letter of drivers's license athentication from INDIA

I am not from Delhi but Punjab. I approached Office of the District Transport Officer at Hoshiarpur. The superintendent refused to provide any such authentication as he said it is not in practice.

Finally, all my waiting period got waived off & now I can appear for directly G road test after clearing the theory exam which I already did. Now looking forward to take a few driving lessons.

Doesn't matter. One of my friend got such letter from Hoshiarpur too by paying Rs.300 only.

I am expecting to get PPR by end of November. And if this falls in place I shall be moving to Canada before Christmas.

What a pity!!
After a week of request of copy of letter, no forum mate has bothered to share the letter from the RTO Office.
I thought these forums were meant to help co applicants in their immigration and after life in Canada. But unfortunately others do not think this way.

I got three driving license, 1st from India nearly 20 years now, 2nd from UK 14 years and 3rd from UAE nearly 4 years now. Read somewhere that the UK license can be easily exchanged to Canada driving license is it true ?

Certainly, UK has a reciprocal agreement with Canada. You can easily exchange your UK driving licence with a Canadian one.
