What is the exact start and end date of both courses?
One started in January, 2020 and finished in September.
Immediately after second started in September ,2020 and finished in may 2021.. I applied in June for PGWP . No study gap.. everything was one by one..

They should give me at least two years work permit. It is unfair decision literally. St.lawrence college and Durham college both are in DLI in institute.. they must have made mistake while assessment of PGWP application..

You only did 2 8-month courses.

You can't claim that the combined length is 16 months to be 2years. You're still 8 month short of 2 years
No it is written in the college website. Okay for some possibility, I consider it is 8 month program. Right. So total it would 16 months. So ircc websites clearly suggests that if you have two programs which are equal to 1 year. Then your pgwp will combine to the length of two programs so it should be at least 16 my months. Bro not only 12 months

You should apply for reconsideration. Yes if you were full-time the whole time you would get at a minimum a 16 month PGWP.

how can I apply for Reconsideration? would it be okay if I hand over this matter to experienced agent ? I am 100% sure that they have made a mistake while assessing my application. I studies one year course- Healthcare Administration from St. Lawrence College. and then Second -Pharmaceutical Food Science Technology from Durham. both courses are full time and both college are DLI eligible. and as a rule, they should at least give me 16 months PGWP. but most probably 3 years.

You only just mentioned you got a pgwp of less than 2 years. How can I know that it was 12 or 16 months

According to https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program/permit.html

For a pgwp for 2 one-year courses,
T"he student completed more than one program from an eligible DLI within 2 years", meaning doing two courses from only one DLI

YOu did 2 courses from 2 different institutions. So therefore the decision was correct to only award pgwp for the 2nd course.

you can apply for gcms notes, but it would state the same thing.

my brother. most of my classmates who did two courses from different college. the same two courses who took with me. they got 3 year work permit. as you said it is correct so they should also get one year work permit. why they got three year work permit? they also have the same documents and same courses. just student is different

Yes. If they took exactly the same course at the same time as you, they should in fact get 1 year only.

How many is "most"?

If you believe IRCC did not apply the law correctly on your case, file a lawsuit in the provincial court. You're in Canada I presume, so it's easy for you to hire a lawyer

You dont make a case based on your friend or classmate and in your situation, you do qualify for 16months but not 3years. Best way is as you suggest hire consultant to careful look into your situation and apply for reconsideration. Focus on way forward…..
