Hello all!
so my partner only holds a visitor visa at the moment here in Canada and has been living with me since he first came here in 2023. Minus he has gone back to Dominican Republic few times here and there because of the fact he can only be in Canada for 6 months at a time. This time I extended his stay so he has been here in Canada continuously since june2024
Iv tried googling stuff but cannot find an answer about if I can claim him as a dependant for tax purposes because I have been supporting him and he is not able to work in Canada yet. He is from Dominican Republic and just has a visitor visa. So he does not have a SIN. Any info would be appreciated
