My husband is a failed refugee claimant, he was called in for a PRRA interview in August 2013. He took the the PRRA and send in his application form. In October 2013 we got marrried. Now the question is should we apply for outland sponsorship or inland? Some lawyers / consultants are telling us to do inland and when you go in for your decision hearing abour PRRA then mention to the officer and they may defer your removal. Others are telling us to start the outland application right away and wait for your removal. Once he is asked to leave he should comply with the order and wait until his outland sponsorship is approved to come back. Can anyone tell us if there is a chance the CBSA officer will defer his removal if we do an inland application. How long before PRRA comes in?
