Hello,

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the
processing of your application, we require the following documents:

 Client Information: Receipt of information from client In your Express Entry Profile, You
indicated that you have been employed by: Wind mobile

I note that you have provided proof of income.

 However, based on open sources, I was not able to confirm the specific physical location of your
employer.

 To address my concerns, please provide additional documented evidence proving your work
experience with Wind mobile

 This must be received at this office by: 2017/05/18

You must send us the requested information by email within 7 days from the date of this letter.

I recently got the following concern from immigration, i did give them my pay stubs, T4 and employment letter. However, the problem is that wind mobile has been rebranded as Freedom mobile.

I am thinking of providing the new business card with the company name and address plus electricity, gas and internet bill. Will these be enough or should i give something else. Please help. Thank you

Can you ask the company for some official letter that states the rebranding? Or maybe a newspaper article that talks about the rebranding? Or Annual Report, Auditor's Report or other official company filings would also mention the rebranding during the year it occurred. If this company has a website, then such information might also be found there under the company's history, corporate info etc.

Can you ask the company for some official letter that states the rebranding? Or maybe a newspaper article that talks about the rebranding? Or Annual Report, Auditor's Report or other official company filings would also mention the rebranding during the year it occurred. If this company has a website, then such information might also be found there under the company's history, corporate info etc.
Rebranding information is there on major websites like huffingpost.ca, thestar.com. I don't understand how the government officials missed it. But what you said makes sense, i should definitely attach that information. How else can i show that i worked with the company?

Submit those newspaper articles for sure. Then, since they specifically asked about physical location, assuming the old address and new address are the same, submit a payslip or something like that which states the address of the employer when it was still under the old name and also take a screenshot of the website where the address is stated now (and they should match of course). If old address and new address are not the same, maybe there is some online notice about them moving offices pre or post rebranding? If not, maybe ask HR if they can issue you something on their letterhead that confirms both the rebranding and the change in office location from the earlier address to the new address.

Since you mentioned electricity, gas and internet bills, I assume this might be a very small company. So these might also help...especially if you can submit an electricity bill issued to old company name and one to the new company name (with same or different address, as the case may be).
