yes.

1.Please check the matching NOC code for school teacher.

2.Then check if your job covers 60-70 % of Main Duties mentioned on CIC website.

3.Then check that at least you have the qualifications that are mentioned as -is essential/is required under Employment requirements

Regardless of employment requirements, you can* still in some cases apply as long as your main duties match.
Remember under employment requirements - sometimes it says*- usually required or may be required and sometimes it says only- is required.
It makes sense you have the degree where it says - is required.

Please wait for more replies for further clarification as for No.3 my opinion might be wrong.

For example - NOC 0111- Financial Managers
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=0&val1=0111&val65=*

Under Employment Requirements it says-
A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.

Hi, I have many years of Human Resource Management experience, however my education is in Law. However, when I called to lawyer D.Cohen's office' they said I can apply as long as my job is not some kind of medical, chemistry, science or etc, because it's obvious that such profession requires relevant qualification.

I think what valsanail says is correct and my opinion on Employment requirements regarding education may be wrong.
Check this thread which has discussion regarding similar issue
