So that happened :(

Me and my friend both went to Rainbow bridge. And we submitted our passport and COPR.

After a while the officer, came out and told me "I can not find you in the system" :( DID this happen to any one? I mean how can he NOT find me in the system? If I am not in the system how did I get COPR and Visa? He said "Even though you are not in the system, I will process your visa and you will become a PR".

I signed my COPR and he kept a copy, and welcomed me as a PR.

my friend did not face any problem with COPR. Her status on ECAS is "Complete"
my status is still "Decision Made", even though we both landed minutes apart.

Did any one face this problem???

Any advice will be greatly appreciated :(

i've heard this has happened before. don't worry about ecas. it means nothing. where is rainbow bridge?

why worry so much, you got your PR. it happens some time due to system error...

I am worrying because my husband is yet to land.

I am the principal applicant, so If I don't land, my husband cannot land.

If they do not have the information that I already landed, they may hold my husband for questioning as to why he came to land!

Not sure if it helps but read this thread for similar experiences. In some of these cases, the officer wouldn't even do landing and they had to come back to border later when problem was resolved.

in another thread, it's been pointed out CIC posted an announcement in July about this issue, and how to land without the COPR in the system. It appears it still is an issue at some borders. the OP has another thread where this bulletin has been shared:
