Hey all,

I have few doubts before I apply for visa.

I have got an admit letter from Brock University for the MBA ISP course. So I wanted some information about education loan and GIC.

I'm getting my education loan processed from Avanse Financial Services. So I wanted to know whether I can apply for study visa through the loan approval letter. Will they accept education loan from this organization?

I also wanted to know about GIC. If I'm getting the education loan from Avanse do I have to pay GIC compulsory? Or can it be an exception?

I very much confused on this stuff, please help me in this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Sharan

Has to be a Nationalized bank. On the checklist, may be the last page, you will find the list of banks for India.

I'm going through non-collateral loan. So non of the nationalized banks are providing non-collateral loan. That is the only reason why I opted for Avanse.
So will it be a risk of visa getting rejected by going with loan letter from Non-Banking financial organization?

It depends on how the loan is going to be paid, if its going to be paid to the school and secure your GIC which will be considerate and better than the funds staying back in the account of the organization consideration been a non collateral loan which might not seem guaranteed

But if an appropriate documents can be put in place of a guaranteed loan that wont be withdrawn sounding so convincing to the VO, there will be less threat

So I was planning to pay my GIC of approx 10k dollars, pay the first term fee to the college of approx 13.5k and then show bank balance up to 25k dollars with loan letter of 16k dollars. The total tuition fees is 54k dollars.

Will this be enough to make sure that I am on a safer side for visa approval?

I have a similar query. Can i show a loan approval letter from a nationalized bank along with bank letter having enough fund to sustain me for 1 year(like fixed deposit that can be liquidated anytime) ? Is GIC compulsory if the university does not fall under spp?

I am also taking a same loan from avanse but i am thinking to not show the letter of loan to the VO. Rather i will show them amount in my father's bank account(bank statement) so it will create more impression i think. What do you think

Hey!

I had taken my loan from Avanse as well and this is what I had done : I had transferred the GIC using my savings, applied for a loan equivalent to cover the 1st year of my tuition, transferred the fees for the first semester to the college, showed enough funds in other forms like FD, insurance etc. to cover my tuition and expenses for the third and fourth semester. Cheers!

Don’t attach the loan letter with your visa application. Get it disbursed and make GIC from that amount & show remaining amount in your account :)

If I get all the amount disbursed right now I need to pay the interest from the disbursed date that it the reason why Im thinking not to do that.
