This is Frank from Alberta.
I submitted FSW-3 to CIO in April, 2010, and then received the FN from CIO in July.
And then submitted all documents to Buffalo on Oct 20 with IELTS result.
So far I have not receive any response from Buffalo, but when I use the FN from CIO to check status,
it is "Decision made" (A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.)
What dose it mean?
Thanks.
Best of wishes to all

Sorry to hear that but Decision made at this stage means file has been rejected and a highly likely reason for this will be points less than 67.

Cheers
Saki

I am sure my point is more than 70, it should be 76.
Hope it is a computer mistake.
Anyway, what I can do now is only waiting for the letter.

Hi,

I have a second thought that this 'Decision Made' is negative. As what you've said, the 'Decision Made' status came from your E-CAS using your file number from CIO and not from your Buffalo VO, meaning you have not received yet your 2nd AOR.. you just submitted your full docs last Oct 20th and it may take time before you receive your 2nd AOR...on my own opinion , a Decision was made based from your File Number from CIO...

Seniors.. could you please confirm?

Dear if you have not received any response, then it seems a bad sign. But dont loose hope and wait for a letter with reason of decision from VO. Hope it would be mistake from them.

Hi ualiu,

I agree with 'FireFlySun'.
"Decision made' is the status of CIO,Sydney.

Wait for ur 2nd AOR from Buffalo,it might take 2-3 months as u have submitted on Oct20,2010.
Don't panic.u will be fine :)

Hi

They dont change the status to Decision Made after sending the 1st AOR and secondly most of the people can check their status with both the file numbers (1st AOR and 2nd AOR) and it shows the same. So its either a computer error or a geniune decision of rejection.

Cheers
SAki

I agree with Saki. "Decision made" happens only after application is received at VO. Let's pray that it is a computer error.

At CIO, following two stages are shown in e-cas.

1- APPLICATION RECEIVED - Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
We have received your application. After checking for completeness, a file has been created and the information from the application form was entered.

2 - Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE. Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) - Eligibility Review Complete. The review at the CIO-Sydney has been completed. A letter with additional information has been mailed.

I agree with Vermas and Saki. I sent my full documents on August 31st to Buffalo, and I am still waiting for my 2nd AOR. But when I check my status they only show CIO Eligibility Review Complete based on the number B******** issued by CIO on their 1st Aor. There isn't written anywhere DECISION MADE at this stage.

This morning, I receive the 2nd AOR.
So the "Decision Made" previous shown might be a system error.

Congratulations ualiu,so happy for you :D
