Help!! Course started and no study permit yet!

Hello everyone,

Can someone please help in understanding the study permit delay issue. I'm asking for a friend.

He applied for his visa on 26th July through VFS Mumbai. As its already September, the course has began and he his application on VFS page shows the following message:
" Visa Application tracking Id No. ***** is being processed in Canada Visa Office, Bangalore. to know more, please call VAC helpline or visit website for further details. "

Can someone help in understanding what does this mean?
The study permit was applied in the General category.

Sadly no Jan intake happens for the course applied!!

Two letters have been written to the Visa office and still no visa received. If there is anyone who can help in understanding the delay it would be of great use.

I'm kind of in the same boat now. Applied end of Jan and no visa yet. Applied through VFS, Bangalore.
Can you let me know what happened with you/your friend?

Hello,
He got his visa after one week of this post. So he got to attend his course. I hope you get your visa soon as well.
His visa came from New Delhi visa office I guess that's why it was late.
