I sent my application for my spouse on April 21st, 2011 from mississigua. Its been almost 2 months and have not heard anything. Can anyone help me and let me know when I should receive a letter from CIC??

Some people never receive a letter, only an email if an email address was provided.

Did you check your status on ECAS? What does it say?

if you are in Canada, and its past the 42 day mark, you can call the call centre....thats how I found out....

ECAS is online system that can display the application status (Immigration and Citizenships only)
