Help!!! Can i re-enter Canada after my visitor VISA expired?????

Hello guys,

My candian VISA is expired but have valid work permit till the end of next year.
Can i re-enter Canada after vising US (have valid US visiting VISA) ?

I already booked the flight ticket for next week......

Help please!!!!

Yes, as long you return within the validity of your work permit and only visited the US. Good Luck!

uhm....I'm not too confident with the answer, as far as I know, you do need to have a visa to re-enter. I'd call CIC to confirm.

For your information:

I have a temporary resident visa. Can I leave Canada and come back?

• You can ask to come back to Canada on your original temporary resident visa, even if it is expired, if:
  • you will only visit the U.S. or St. Pierre and Miquelon, and
  • you will return to Canada before the end of your approved stay in Canada.

Yes you can, my friend went to the US, when she got back, she forgot her expired passport with the expired trv, but she has the valid open work permit, they let her in, what else can they do, she lives and works in Canada.
