hi, i have a complicated situation at the moment, i need a serious advise, i have a canadian son, i married to a Chinese guy, we were living in canada, our son born in edmonton, we came to china, and we have been here for almost one year, but the thing is my husband want the divorce, i want to return to canada, but he need to sign a letter to authorize my son to travel alone whit me, i heard i am not sure, Chinese law give the custody to his father and his fathers family, i am scared for what they can do, i have a student permit that will expires on july 2013, and we have a discussion the other day and he intend to hit me, now i am waiting for him to sign the authorization one day, but i am really scared if he hit me , or if he take away my son...i read canada has many cases for people in need but i am not sure which one i can apply, or should i call the local canadian embassy, and i am originally from colombia, i also don,t want to return to my home country because of the violence situation that my home country has, so now i stuck in china whit my son, waiting for my husbands deposition, and i feel my hands tide don,t knowing what to do, and i am afraid if they do something to take away my baby, and i wonder also if i can seek some canadian law protection if i need it, in order to let my son grow in a better environment than this.
