I meant to say that, I am the primary applicant and my husband can take a personal loan and transfer to my account for the settlement funds. But we both will b jointly filing this PR application. If not possible how they will come to know we have taken a personal loan.if you mean your spouse can take a loan to cover the funds then no.
if you mean your spouse has the money and will deposit it and that's what you mean by loan then it's fine. just keep a copy of the transfer info
you're not ALLOWED to borrow money to cover your fund. Don't think about doing anything thinking "how would they know"I meant to say that, I am the primary applicant and my husband can take a personal loan and transfer to my account for the settlement funds. Is that we need to borrow money from someone who is not in the application.?
I am sorry but you are NOT supposed to borrow and show it as POF. It's just not the way it works. If you do something of that sort, the CIC will definitely figure it out and worst case, you will be banned for 5 years. Please adhere to the rules and regulations. One red flag and the process snails down for everyone in the queue. Good luck.We do not have our own funds this much. This situation how it can be done. Even we cannot borrow from our blood relations.?![]()
well if you do borrow the money and pay it back and get your ppr. you'll be landing with barely any cash. how would you expect to survive there? You might not find high paying work for a while and will have to stick to survival jobs. People have mentioned the cic proof of funds is barely enough to survive after they land. That means from financial institution also not possible...
If someone gifting us also not..?
Thanks for your response.
Yes gifts are OK.That means from financial institution also not possible...

Yes job offer with LMIA (Google LMIA for more details) will give 50 points. And one more concern. If we get a job offer. Will that add 50 points to our CRS.?

ThanksYes gifts are OK.
Search for 'gift deed' in this forum for more details.
And by the way, you will need enough cash (atleast the POF amount) to survive in the initial few months. Getting job in Canada as a new immigrant is not so easy.
