Hello everyone
I had a chat with a friend who seems to know much about the Canadian Immigration system . I spoke to him about the chances of a semi skilled worker getting employed as a TFW in Alberta and then getting nominated later on. He said finding an employer in Alberta isn't really difficult but getting nominated (AINP) is a huge problem , Basically he advised me to forget the province as it takes a very long time to process the nomination and most times semi skilled workers fail in their attempt to be nominated . I would like to know if there's any truth to this .

I would like to get replies from those who have applied / experienced the Alberta PNP nomination process. I believe there should be some out here .

Getting an employer wasn't difficult maybe before the moratorium was implemented but it's a different story now.Even if you belong to the high wage category of $24.++ per hour you will only be given a year wp and your employer will be asked to prove that they are doing something to hire Canadians or PR for your position.

With the PR application of getting nominated, you can look around this forum and see how long applicants get their nomination. Some of them were early November applicants and still haven't got their nomination yet. This was wayyy too long compared with my ainp nomination which I got 30 days after submitting my application in September 2013.

now it's like more than 6months to get nomination if you apply now in AINP

But I have heard that some people wait for as long as a year before hearing from AINP .
