Hi all, I started my full-time employment on Jan 27,2016, and accepted invitation to apply on Jan 25, 2017 (exactly 365 days from the start of employment). I submitted the application to CIC on Feb 17, 2017. Now i think about it, is there possibility that I could be rejected because I did not wait till after Jan 27, 2017 (calendar one year)? Thank you for the help in advance!!

You are short by only 2 days for a calendar year, I don't think it should be a problem as long as you have submitted all the required documents.

There is the possibility, it could go either way.

There was Feb 29 in 2016, so I got ITA just on the last day of 52nd week. Could I argue that had the worst happened? Thank you.

LOL, because of Leap Year? All that means is that in 2016, there were 366 days.

You can argue, but the fact is that 1 year is the minimum requirement. IRCC does not legally have to cut you any slack. In some cases they do, I think it probably has a lot to do with the totality of your application. If you suceed, consider yourself lucky.
