Hi Good Morning, this is cresten ann henderson,i just wanna ask about our pernament visa and for my son citizenship.my husband apply for our pernament visa last 2011 until now we didnt hear any news and but passport are still here they gave back when my visitor visa was denied.any idea when we can do medical?thanks hope we can hear you soon....

Hmm, This is a Canada visa forum. This not CIC Canada.

Too bad though. Imagine how nice it would be if CIC just assigned one or two people to address questions in forums like these. They could probably drop their call volumes down immensely on questions that are not application specific. Especially since they could answer a question once and others could read it without having to ask it themselves (so more effective than email).

You should have sent police check and medical with your, application, I suggest you send ASAP.

Unfortunately, it would violate all kinds of privacy laws. Ignore the fact the applicant would open contact.

I mean could you imagine how embarassed someone would be if they asked about their application and the reply was "We found evidence s/he is cheating on you." Eeek!

You should have sent police check and medical with your, application, I suggest you send ASAP.

If they are applying inland, due to long processing time you don't need to send your medical with the application since it will almost definitely expire before PR is granted. In this case you are supposed to wait until CIC contacts you.

To the OP, you need to provide more info like if you applied outland or inland, if you already did a medical back in 2011, what visa office going through etc etc.

If you have gone beyond the processing times listed on CIC site, you need to contact CIC to inquire about your case.

Oh, I totally agree it would be a case of "Well, YOU asked...."

But unfortunately our society is very afraid of offending anyone or hurting any feelings. We have the kiddy gloves on permanently around here.
