i believe if an open work permit is submitted with an inland app, the applicant will have implied status? also, there are some conversations on this forum about whether or not cbsa goes after inland applicants who don't have implied or legal status. it seems they don't put the time, effort and money to deport pr applicants. i'm not saying to do it, i'm just saying to remember there are 2 agencies involved, and they don't necessarily keep each other up to date about current legal status' of the applicant.agarand8 said:Not until after Friday... I believe that katester is confirming my initial question I had. Just because you are applying inland doesn't mean your spouse is automatically allowed to stay in canada while the application processes. You still need to have a valid visa of some sort or the spouse could get kicked out and your application would essentially be thrown in the garbage.
