2) My legal status : Can I live inside Canada until Jan
3) Work : Can I work officially until Jan
4) Is it possible to get study permit in 3-months time from June?

1. 8 weeks
2. If you apply for extension before your current expires, yes.
3. See below.
4. Looks like yes based on IRCC's current processing time.

If you’re starting a new study program

You can work full-time if you meet all of these requirements:

  • You were already able to work off campus during your previous studies
  • You have a valid study permit or you applied to extend your study permit before it expired
  • You received written confirmation from your current school that you completed your program
  • You received a letter of acceptance to a new full-time study program at a DLI
  • You’ll start your new program within 150 calendar days of receiving the confirmation that you completed your previous program

Would suggest your start applying for university now and then seeking PAL. You’ll need to have both approved to start the SP extension process.

Thank you. He will study in Jan, 2025. Already got PAL. Can I ask one more question?
To show financial proof. I will deposit money into his account. he works PT. for that case, IRCC asks my bank account or his account is enough?
