I been married to my wife for 2 years now and started processing her paper works. We received your application to sponsor on September 17, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 6, 2015.
We started processing your application on November 5, 2015. We received application for permanent residence on September 17, 2015.
We started processing application on November 23, 2015.
Medical results have been received. (Around december). And now its march still waitting i dont know how long i have to wait or whats next advice please​

for how long you have to wait, u should check the CiC website for processing time.. Around 17 months.

Good news , it wont take up to that. Your application is pretty young, there is nothin g to worry about.

That's why you should order notes. In case you missed any emails from CIC, it would indicate that in the notes. You have applied long enough already, so there should be some information. If nothing has started, then you can get your MP to make inquiry for you.

Hey Chinzhao How are you doing.... You are still new in the process.. Not to burst your bubble or anything but 3 months is like you just started the process.. The time frame that on the CIC website is 17 months but your case will be long over before the 17 months but that is what they tell everyone. Alot more ppl is waiting longer than you right now so just sit back and relax and wait until it your time.... Most ppl get there visa withing 10-13 months but you do have some cases that take more time give or take......Once they start the background and security check cic dont have any control over that and that is the process that take up most of the time...You might get your ppr before then and if you do concider yourself lucky....Keep on praying to God.....It not your time to live in canada as yet becuase God has not open that door for you as yet. Have faith and dont try rush anything.

We have almost the same timeline with you as well. Our VO is Singapore.
Like Cheng9999's advice, you should order the GMCS note to see what they have been done to your application and correspondence they have sent to you (if any). I have just ordered my note as well. Below is what I have learned from the forum regarding to the note:

The good indication in your note is that the Eligibility of Principal Applicant is Passed, which means they believe in your relationship genuinity and you do not need to be interviewed. This will significantly reduce the process time of your application since you do not need to wait in the interview queue, which may take up to 24 months.

Even when the Eligibility is set to Require Interview or Recommend Interview, you still can get the information from the note of the red flags they have found in your application. Based on these red flags, you have option to send additional proof/letters to clear the flags, and hopefully the VO would waive the Interview after that.

For your spouse's 5669E (background declaration), did you fill in 10 years or all the way back to 18 years old? I am assuming that in this case, the applicant is older than 28 so there would be gaps. If it's only 10 years and there are still gaps back to 18 years old, it may be a problem. I am not saying it is a problem, but it could be one.

You should not wait for notes to tell you this...we know because we did not get the email being auto-deleted, but the contents of that email were indicated in the GCMS notes. Just go ahead and re-do 5669E, upload it via case-specific inquiry to explain why you are re-doing it, and then send the form via mail to ensure they get it.

From many posts in the forum, most (not sure if all) have to do the 5669E up to 18 years old and not the 10 year minimum. I am not sure if some people's last 10 years would be back to 19 or 22, so that's close enough and they don't get a request to re-do. If there's still a gap, it looks like the VO asks the applicant to re-do. If somehow that requirement is not communicated back (either losing that email to the delete box...yes this does happen) or the VO did not email this out, you just wait and wait and there would no progress.

Well, the email got spammed and auto-deleted. These things happen. I am just reminding people if this could be a possible cause, they should not discount it. There are so many instances of people having to re-do 5669E to fill in the details going back to 18 years old, to the point where applicants should just ignore the 10 year thing and fill it up all the way to 18 to avoid delays. Never hurts.

Im just wonderring if i call cic and ask the progress do you think it will help or tell me the progress or just tell me wait and wait more? I understand its still new application but im just wonderring

Calling them won't help. Once the file is sent to the VO abroad, the call centre has no information.

Well i ordered a note but did not have any idea i need a consent from my wife and now they said thier gonna put the order on hold till april 28 if i fail to submit the consent they said thier gonna consider it abandoned and clear the file or something does that mean thier gonna cancel me sponsorring my wife or its 2 different thing like cancel the order of a note? Im not soo sure nowdays
