Hello everyone,
I am new here. indeed, I am interested in immigrating to Canada....Any tips any guidance.
- I am an English teacher in my country in the public sector.
-I have accumulated a 15 year of experience: I have been teaching also in private sectors; I have taught: kids, adults, foreigners .

Am I having the right profile for a Canadian immigration program?

Note that you most likely won't be able to work in Canada as a teacher without completing additional training and certification. Canada also has more teachers than teaching positions. So even once you have the required certifications to teach, you may have quite a lot of difficulty finding a job.

Please what is meant by study permit and what is procedure to get is as soon as possible, thank you indeed

There are many obstacles that international students faces after graduating that doesn't end always with them getting PR. Such situations can be not being able find a job or an employer that is eligible for immigration streams. As such, you should look into immigration streams like PNP for international graduates to see if you qualify after graduation and also to get a idea of what you're going to need and what the process is going to be.

First thing first is to get a admission offer letter from the school of your choice. Then apply for a study permit. You will need the following:

1. Proof of acceptance ( your admission letter)
2. Proof of identity ( passport)
3. Proof of financial ( bank statements which covers is $10,000 CAD for yourself plus tuition)
4. Proof that you will return home after graduating. This one is the most common refusals for all visa applications. So you will need to show documents that you have ties at your home country to return to and will not overstay in Canada.

See link for how to apply for Study Permit:

Hello everyone,
First of all thank you very much for all your replies. Now, I have received an email from Canada by Choice that is a firm founded by Marwan Zarif saying that I am highly qualified to immigrate to Canada, again is it a good procedure?
Thank you very much indeed and wish you all the best again and again.
