My hearing is this march, and I’m living with my girlfriend since July 2020, Should I apply for sponsorship? And what happen if I apply for sponsorship and my refugee hearing is denied, I need go back to my country and wait for the sponsorship answer or what ?
The sponsorship affect the decision for refugee ?

If your partner is Canadian and you have evidence to prove the year of cohabitation, then yes, I would certainly recommend applying for PR through spousal sponsorship asap.

If your refugee application is denied, then you have a higher chance of being able to stay in Canada if you have a spousal sponsorship application in progress. The sooner you submit the sponsorship application, the better. Also make sure the application is complete or it will be returned unprocessed.

The sponsorship application will not impact the refugee application.

If you apply for spousal sponsorship you don’t need to appeal for refugee. Plus its long and hectic process
