Western Community College in BC offers this program for International students. I believe the tuition is $9500 CAD and 30 weeks full time. DO NOT believe agents that are offering you this program. There is a lot of scams, these agents don't care about you only your money. Lots of changes and lots of colleges not accepted now so be careful and ask the colleges directly by phone or email.

My husbands niece is here in Canada and interested in this program and was almost scammed by one agent.

I am still trying to find out if this course is even acceptable for PNP because I don't see it on the list. Only Nurses, Doctors etc.

The program is fine. IMO this is more about getting the work experience needed after graduating to qualify for an immigration program. The PNP health care programs are generally geared toward doctors and nurses. Her most obvious path to apply would be through the Express Entry category draws. However this will depend on a few things including getting the requires work experience, meeting the overall program requirements, having enough points to be selected, and also the draws continuing. So no guarantee this will work out.

She should start learning French now to increase her options.

Not sure about the agent but for applying for any program to study in Canada, it's never a guarantee for PR application.
If your niece wants to study for the program that she's interested and plan to use what she studied back in home country for career advancement, then go ahead. That's true process of applying for study permit.

If she is interested in immigration, then look into her EE profile and try to improve via language/work experience...etc

I know the new laws are to study and go home and I whole hardheartedly agree with this! But she's been here for 3 years already, studying for 1.5 and working for 1.5 and is looking for a way to stay.

I honestly don't believe its possible for her at this point but I am doing my due diligence to help.

Whatever is meant to happen, will happen...

If she was really serious about getting PR then she would be doing this research rather than you. If she's not willing to put in the work to figure this out, then she should expect she will be heading back home in a year or so. There are people who want PR a lot more than she does and are who are putting in the work to qualify and be selected.

If she is really serious and really wants PR, then she would be doing research herself today and would also start learning French immediately. If she's not willing to do both of those things, then she doesn't have what it takes to get PR and shouldn't come crying to you when she has to leave. Time to adult.

She just called an "Agent" and he told her there was an announcement just made that inside Canada there are applications that are eligible to apply and told her to get her application ready to pool apply for PR under CEC. She does not have enough points!!!!!!!!! it's all LIES

I then asked her if she needs to pay him to do this application, she said yes, and there we go! another scam....

You already warned her. She is an adult. If she wants to be scammed, let her learn the lesson the hard way.

The real announcement is that Canada is lowering the target of new PR in the coming years. So it's going to get harder, not easier.

I know, I closely watched the announcement this morning on Global but these "agents" will say anything to get any money they can. I'm sure they're all sh!tting their pants now scrambling cause they have no more work soon.
