Hi all,

Trying to find out if can claim points for private practice or not?
My wife did private practice as an OT for almost 9 months?
How can we prove private practice to CIC or CIO?
Any help in this regard will be great?

HI! you can still apply even if your spouse is a private OT. The employer (anyone she worked for) can certify that she worked for them. My friend is a private duty nurse and got her file number from CIO, NS... but unfortunately, 1 year experience is required..

Thanks for the reply. In our scenario she started as a Private Practitioner until she landed a full-time job. Now the question is that how can we get this work verified because the patients she attended were referred to her from other doctors.
Any ideas on this?

IT return of that period and bills of suppliers if any or letter of reference from the pateints she attended . if none available then do not mention that period if she has 1 year experience in the other period.
