hey i just want to ask if anyone knows what i can do?
I have my citizen already but i left Canada for a period of time but i did not declare non residents!
So i want to get my health card back what can i do?
Will they not give me my health card back?
or do i just need prove of address and be in Canada for 180days?

It does not matter if you declare non resident or not. If you want a valid health card, then you would need to get back to the province and contact the registry.

You need to be in Canada and yes they do check. I was renewing my card and the person ahead of me was asked to prove time in Ontario because the Ministry had revoked his card. It is not as simple as being registered on a home in Canada.

This is absolutely not true, and you should refrain from opining on matters that you obviously have no knowledge about or experience in.

As a returning resident, you must provide both proof of your date of entry into Canada as well as proof of your domicile in the respective province. Following AldjinJackson's advice will just lead to undue complications for you.

Just be honest. There could be a short period of time when you are not eligible for benefits but if you are a Canadian Citizen then I don't see why you would loose your benefits permanently.
