Job Offer........
So my girlfriend and I are getting married in late July. I can't afford to stay without working so the plan is that I will return to Ireland while the application is being processed. Will this cause any issues? It's very legit so I don't see that as being an issue. I'm more concerned with having to fly over all of a sudden for an interview.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

No, no issues. Just be sure you file for PR via the outland process - not inland, as that requires that you remain in Canada. If you file outland your application will be processed in London and any interview will be held there.

Though you are asked on your application if you had a honeymoon. So if you leave immediately after your marriage you will have to explain why. Personally I would consider staying for a short time after (at least a week) but that's just my opinion.

Yup, staying for four weeks after.
Can't afford our dream honeymoon in Iceland just yet =).

Oh geez, no problem at all with that! I was just worried that you meant you'd be leaving right after which could give the wrong idea. But if you're staying for 4 weeks certainly no reason to worry. Good luck.
