Good news LCS!! I have been reading through all the posts and I am aware of your troubles. I hope you and your husband can finally relax and enjoy your lives now that the immigration battle is behind you two. What a long haul for you guys!!

Good luck in the future and I hope that you come back to the site once in awhile to send some good advice our way ;).

Thanks again to you all. Yes, it's been long long frustrating and draining experience. I am dreading having anything more to do with the Gov't any time soon in the future. This experience has completely taking away any confidence or positive belief I might have ever had in the Gov't.
I haven't been on the forum as much lately as we've been finalizing things for getting him here and HE ARRIVES TOMORROW AT 4:30 PM !!!!!!!!!!!

Anatolia, I know it will be so different for him here without ceviche and especially all the seafood that is so easily available and cheap there. But he will grow to love Alberta beef I'm sure! I can do a reasonable Lomo Saltado and I have a Peruvian cookbook, but I hope he can teach me a few other dishes.

I still can't quite believe it's happening.

thanks!
Would you believe that when he landed in Toronto, contrary to what I thought and had been told about many immigration officials having various languages, there was no one who could speak spanish!! It many have been a blessing in disguise, they couldn't grill him with their questions and they just gave him his Permanent Residency papers and let him go. :))
