Having Work Permit need to apply for PR

My employer filed Canadian Work permit for 2 years I have to start work in Canada in next 4 months….the filing is in progress……Will it be possible for me to apply for PR in FSW category…..as there are no terms and conditions mentioned with the employer agreement….Kindly suggest..

Once you have successfully completed one year job under temporary work permit, you could apply for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class, if you were working in one or more of these National Occupational Classification (NOC) categories:

Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations),
Skill Level A (professional occupations) or
Skill Level B (technical occupations and skilled trades).

MY job is not of one year...but do have 2 year work visa...that in this case can I or My wife can apply for the PR.....

You are eligible to apply PR under CEC only after completing one year. Otherwise you or wife can apply for FSWP if any one meet the requirements as specified by CIC.

. Hi, you can apply for provicial nominee in the province where you are employed as soon as you land because you have a job offer. Once you are nominated you can then apply for PR visa. For Alberta it take about a month for the nomination process depending on your occupation
