The issue is you can't solve it. You worked illegally - that's the problem. People have (recently) been rejected for this exact reason! It's not like forgetting to send a NOC or accidentally putting down the wrong NOC. You worked well beyond the expiry of your WP while you didn't have another application in process.
When you got your WP, it would have been made clear to you that you had to have stopped working / left by it's expiry. While I appreciate your circumstances (a little) you have to take responsibility for this.
Due to the seriousness (it's pretty serious) I'd suggest you focus on seeking legal advice instead of focusing on what can be offered here.
